It's worth providing them with your mobile number as they can ring a mobile or landline to authenticate internet banking payees and will text a confirmation if a new payee is set up etc.
It costs nothing to receive an incoming call or text so you will still keep your £3.63

If anything like a card was needed they would have told you when you applied and mentioned 1 would be posted.
Its 1 of the reasons why I like them, theres no card reader needed to login unlike Barclays which I find not the easiest.0
