Mobile insurance -getting phone back

I sent my mobile phone off to lifestyle insurances see if it could repaired.

They said they could not repair it so gave me a cash offer or replacement.

I have refused the offer and asked for my phone back but they have said that might not be possible!!!

Surely it is my phone until a settlement is made and must return it?

I have been offered a full refund from the shop I got the phone from which is over double what lifestyle insurance have offered me.

Cannot see anything in the T&C about it.

    Ask for it back again.

Starting to sound like I am not going to get MY phone back!

They said it is uneconomical to repair. That surely does not give the right to not send my phone back to me if I refuse there offer!

It doesn't, it should remain your property unless the T&Cs say otherwise. Have you read them yet?
