I decided to try one of those gorillapods - bendy legs that wrap around things supporting the camera on a bracket. I noticed many opportunities in street furniture which could have benefited from such a tripod, and it weighs half of the lightest 3' tripod. There are 2 main sizes, I'm going for the larger one.0
