HI frazz the challenge is going very well, I've lost a stone so far so very pleased with myself! DH and I did a 10km run together on Saturday which was fun as well as hard work, nice to spend some time on our own.

Finished my Xmas shopping today, now I can just relax and wrap up/send the gifts and not worry about anything.

Hubbie on a course for the next few days so not sure if I'll get on here much and no running for a few days.

Tomorrow is a big spend day car tax and MOT and whatever they find wrong with our rust bucket! Hopefully nothing but have money put aside for it this year (there's a first!)

Hooray car passed the MOT so only had to pay for the test :j

Today I received a cheque from my grandad to buy things for Xmas he sent £100, which is lovely of him, so I'm going to suggest to dh that we buy a new dvd player as ours is broken and then put the rest towards the windows. That way we get a family present and a boost to the savings. Hubbie is on a course so will have to speak to him when he phones later.

I'm doing a mystery shop tomorrow and getting extra as they phoned me to ask about doing it, will only take a few minutes.

Still waiting for a few pennies to arrive from various places but definitely looking to be a sound end to the year, just hope that threat of redundancy goes away

    Morning!

A few pounds to add today:

    £21.50 from mystery shopping
    £20.45 from survey site

I've had to reschedule 2 mystery shops for today as dd home with a sore throat and cold, hope to do on Saturday instead.

Only 5 1/2 weeks until I go back to work , need to enjoy the time at home as that will soon go. Will definitely miss the little ones I've enjoyed spending time with them, I'm glad I was able to take my dd to school when she started in September.

I'm usually very organised at work but will have to ensure I keep ahead of my work as I could quickly fall behind. I'll only be working Monday - Wednesday until end of March as using annual leave the other days so should be a nice easy start.

Anyway no more thinking about that looking forward to going away at :xmastree: .

Good progress on the windows and controlling all the other areas.

Best wishes for return to work and I hope the little ones' health remains good too; do keep some leave in-hand to cover for them. I've always left very early each morning (OH and DD in bed) so we can have an evening meal and time together then, but, I know OH has in the past had "stress" on some occasions to get daughter to eat breakfast etc in a timely fashion. Maybe you should start some practice days with the children so they get used to this in advance?

Eva, where are you - hope the dinosaurs didn't get you .
