The problem is that when he gives incorrect benefit advice it needs to be corrected, which leads into the vicious circle you describe.

Having had the need for such help in the past in looking for legal advice on many things including welfare benefits I have yet to find a legally trained professional at any CAB that I have visited.
The best was being told to go see the Law School at the university where students and staff may be able to help.

As I have said and in to my knowledge, the CAB are only as good as giving advice on simple things and offering fact sheets to read.

I'm sorry Boris but you can't ignore the incorrect benefit advice he dispenses. The OP deserves a correction, to Danday's misinformation.

I can ignore his silly posts like the one directly above (although they may dissuade OP's from seeking help), but the direct dissemination of false / incorrect advice is different.

It's a little late for that. He's already taken over a lot of the thread with his never ending stories. His PIP claim and even mentioning the wifes AA claim.... hmmm all stories that ring a bell :beer:
