Will my Sky Card work in France?

If it is a Sky Digibox and not just a digital satellite receiver your card will receive ITV, 4,and Five. if the dish is big enough.Does the digibox have a card in it,i suppose not.Your card in a different digibox will get all the BBC (Free anyway) ITV1 ITV2 Channel 4 and Five.......and if your card is a subscription card then you will also get all the basic package channels......but no sky movies or sky sports channels..........

A Sky card will work in ANY digibox........but will not get any sky movies or sky sports or any premium channels,but it will get all the basic channels including all the uk terrestrial channels.............you can take this info to the bank.......

Your parents say that they are geting Sky One...................very strange.........then they must get ITV 4 and 5 unless the dish is much to small...are you sure they are geting Sky One?

Will probably get there and find the channels are there after all!

Just go, switch off the gogglebox, and enjoy the time with your family. Better memories in the end. You can always buy the DVD's remember. I'm sure you'll find a cheap link on here! ........:D

I do know what you're saying CS but the villa is right out in the sticks, so no nightlife and my parents usually disappear up to bed at ten ish, which will leave me and hubby alone. I know there are other things to do than watch telly, but there is only so much scrabble and charades you can take

Anyway, we go on Wednesday, so will take the card and see what happens.
