UK seller - or not?

You will find nearly all the Chinese sellers that are on Ebay are also on Amazon so chances are you will have no choice but to buy from one of them.
Both of them are huge market places all over the world and the Chinese sellers sell all over the world.
I buy a lot from both places and usually it's Chinese sellers that have what I want.
What I look for is where the product is located, I know they are Chinese but the huge Chinese sellers have depots in the UK where they ship from so there is no long wait. The problem is returns, they usually want returns sent back to China but luckily the very small number of problems I have had were refunded without question.
The customs and VAT are prepaid so there is no chance of the dreaded customs letter hitting the letterbox either.0 -
Well cows are vegan so may be this woman thinks they must produce vegan leather (and maybe vegan meat as well). On another forum I read there is a current discussion going on about what leather actually is, a seller is insisting that vegan leather is a 'thing' and it is still leather despite not coming from an animal. She is arguing that she does not have to mention that it is man made or faux, as that is something entirely different and vegan leather is real leather.
The argument has to be seen to be believed.
I've just bought an item made from silk, that in itself was a quest as so many people are selling 'real' silk which is 100% polyester, I almost gave up!0 -

I guess, in summary, the lesson for us all is buyer beware as there are some sharks, and rather stupid people, out there!
By the way Soolin, were you a fan of Blakes Seven by any chance (or are you Glynis Barber)?0 -
