Guys just about to leave the country for a week, so thought I'd get everything prepared for the appeal letter. But, noticed on the PCN that our registration plate is wrong. It's got the letter 'I' instead of a number "1".

Would that make any difference. If I put the wrong number plate no. in their website to see the images it comes up with the photos, but if I put the correct number plate in it doesn't.

You would be better employed concentrating on their contract with the MA, prohibitive signs, what your lease says about parking, primacy of contract, and de minimus imo. Read these

that is ironic , the number of times a PPC kick off and issue ticket because the owner gets it wrong

the PCN cannot match the NTK (drivers details from DVLA)

You could appeal the PCN using the standard template, adding that you have never owned, driven, or been the keeper of said vehicle.
If they send a NTK then it won't repeat the info on the NTD.
Complain to the DVLA, BPA, your MP, and Sir Greg Knight that you are being harassed by an unregulated company known for faking images.

Certainly get the template appeal in on day 26, or before, if you will be away. If that means you have to put in the wring reg, then do exactly that and I would not tip them off, would not add anything to the template.

If anyone is in a similar situation with UKPC, just to let you know that they didn't even put up a fight. PCN cancelled just by appealing using the template.
