Vodafone Ireland Plus - check it's been cancelled
Was just on the web chat renegotiating my line rental and it got to the end and they asked if I wanted to cancel my Ireland Plus subscription....... Now this was very useful for me living on the border between Northern Ireland and the Republic as it meant I could use my data etc both sides of the border but after roaming stopped being charged for in July last year it became totally redundant........ ok I admit I should have checked and I clearly wasn't looking at my bills very closely but I thought it would have cancelled automatically when it became redundant - and apparently it should have been but they had continued to charge me £5 a month and I wonder how many others too. ~the first two people I talked to flat out denied that I was due a refund but eventually I escalated and got someone who knew what they were talking about and got £90 refunded (two phone nos).
So anyone in NI who had Ireland plus - check your account and if they deny a refund - escalate (and threaten to tell everyone on social media!) until they give you a full refund.

If the package give roaming rights beyond the EU roaming regs then they've not done anything wrong. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
IIRC it allowed you to use your bundled minutes to call the Republic, so it did indeed give you additional rights. Therefore customers have no right to demand the charges back IMHO.If the package give roaming rights beyond the EU roaming regs then they've not done anything wrong.0
