Sounds like you've been doing lots of overtime with work too Brizzle!
Hope you can all relax for the summer with exams done and dusted.
Fingers crossed for results day for DD - though am sure she'll be fine! Watching back to back films is allowed (for a while.....!)

Hope all is well brizzle and you have managed a run. Been 6 days here and I'm itching to get out. I'm a little bit addicted now I have got used to running slightly longer distances and want to challenge myself to even more.
Your Dd work ethic will get her far, she's a credit to you.
Have a great weekend. Hope the solar panels are fixed, is it the opposite of boilers failing in the cold weather.0 -
That must be so annoying about the panels! I was only thinking about you the other day and how well your panels must be doing.

No running but did an exercise class in 42 degree heat!! Slept like a baby after that...
I am so narked about the panels as it seems we need a new inverter. Third one in 7 years. Carp. The original was replaced under warranty but seems they won!!!8217;t do this one. But losing 2 in 7 years is not great at all. Tempted to hassle them about this and ask for an exception. Awaiting a quote for the replacement and that will probably help me decide what to do. Thank god for the emergency replacement fund..
Have a good weekend all

Thanks all. Quote has come through and its less than I thought, but still narked so think I will complain. Formal letter I think rather than phoning and getting annoyed.
Lush visit away. Were treated like very special guests and as if in a 5* hotel. Didnt lift a finger. Very relaxing. Best update YNAB tho as had some spendsbut well worth it
Humid today. Missing the sun!
Love to all

Such a pain re the solar panels - and as others have said especially painful as the weather has been so good. Formal letter sounds a good idea.
Your trip away sounded lovely!
Enjoy the rest of Sunday!

Hello all
Phew. Glad to be heading into the end of a busy week. DD1 has been away DD2 is exhausted with school exams extra classes dance yadda yadda and OH is getting up at 5 to work yadda yadda. We are ships in the night there is no food in the fridge (rectified by some shopping today) and the house needs a super clean.. hmm maybe a job for Aggie whatshername..
But on the plus side the income is steady, we are in good health and OH is pleased about some potential new business. The sun is glorious and I love the predictability of the weather.
I need to have a look at June but certainly groceries wise it was a complete winner. We rocked it at less than £300. Blooming amazing especially given we have organic fruit veg meat milk deliveries etc. But the freezer is looking low.
Hope everyone is well. Hope to start catching up on your news this weekend
