I love hearing about your different categories of spending, I really need to sort out my spending diary."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0

All good thanks ladies. Weather was cooler but then has got hotter again. Agree, greent, think that if it wasn’t for our discarded washing up water our trees would be under some stress...
Just had a lovely day out with a dear friend...all good and we thoroughly treated ourselves. Excellent lunch and yes a bottle of wine...bliss. Work again tomorrow though
Jwil...hope youre good. Must pop by, sorryYNAB helps us categorise our spends. In that sense not sure what we would do without it. We spend far too much in some categories..for example I love food...can you tell :rotfl:

Youre right..that needs rectifying immediately
I do need a proper EF though..one to take care of one of us getting made redundant etc....6 months worth I think is the usual rule of thumb..

Its great having an EF. Even a small one. And whilst the tax fund will be largely demolished shortly, its great to have it and not have to worry. I do need to plan for December tho when more money goes out the door.
Cold chicken this evening. Roasted it last night. Hosted at the weekend so fridge bulging again.
Haven’t read or heard from NOA or Pinot in a while..hope they are OK.
Heading home. Shattered even though it’s only Tuesday :rotfl:- saving myself a lengthy commute tomorrow though as working from home. Yippee! Grey clouds but muggy. Think the weather is changing...
Love to all x0 -
Impressive savings pots there. Inspirational. I am hoping to get to £1,000 for my EF by the end of August.

Have a good evening x0 -
Great pot totals brixzle agree about the EF, it definitely makes you feel better even if you have to sacrifice paying down the debt a little to help build one up. I have a SO going to ours every month, when i started it at £30 a month a couple of years ago I could never see it building up. It's now a higher amount that gets contributed each month and stands at £2,250 but so glad I started it as I don'treally miss the money iyswim. I do want to get it to a decent figure though so will keep plugging away. Hope wfh gives you some extra time.0
