Glad everything is good Brizzle. Sounding very organised and on track as usual. Hope DD1 relaxes a bit more and doesn't burn herself out. We had torrential rain yesterday but it was really muggy. Thankfully today has dawned sunny with blue skies.

All as good as can be expected. Did a class today with OH which was the first time in ages which was great. Real soul food. DD1 beginning to get downcast. Shes put the hours in, but the task is mountain sized, lets hope it pays off.

DD2 now at school doing an exam. Student lodger revising. Its been an academic week this week for sure!

Veggie meal this evening. Asparagus souffl! pancakes from the Riverford recipe box. All part of my weight loss/feel better plan. Also seriously considering saying no to alcohol for a while, but thats a story for another day...:)

Chickens laying well. Garden looking amazing. Feel very lucky

Thanks for popping in. Going to read some of the Sunday papers in the garden and then try and catch up on some diaries :)

Poor DD1. Such a lot to have on her plate, but I'm sure it'll will all pay off and turn out well.

Your pancakes sound delish - and the decluttering is going well still.

You've reminded me to sort out my Tilly tidy!

Enjoy your relax in the garden today.

Thanks greent and all...she is bearing up but terribly bored of it all by now. Final papers this week and next and then she is free of it for a year or so...

Have been unable to get to a computer to do the scores. Will close the books so to speak on May shortly and reset the goals for June. To be honest have been trying to enjoy this glorious weather too, its been fab. Much more overcast today. Been working much closer to home so cycling which is so so civilised, wish I could do it always. Hoping to go to a class this eve.

Meal planning has been good. Very few spends. Socking money away in the S&S ISA and pension too. Always a tension between this and paying off the mortgage and car CCs but I think its an OK balance at the moment.

Had planned a larger money shuffle next Friday but may do some tomorrow as it will help our current account. Hmm. Decisions. Think will do it as its so good to have an account in the black.

    Hope everyone is good xx

just posting to say hello and will catch up with you shiny new diary and your old diary over next few days. I'm trying to get my mojo up to have a real push down on debt and these diaries are inspirational, and when I want to spend something I read them until the urge goes away :money: :money: :money:

Hi Lou and M88M, thanks for popping by.

The weather makes a huge difference to my mood and makes me inclined to not spend...weird but true. These threads and the support on them is completely inspirational....whilst my LBM suffers malfunctions its never entirely extinguished and thats because of the great stories, support and basically positive community spirit on here. I know other boards are less so, but this one is great.

I also read blogs like My Next Life, MMM, Mrs Frugalwoods etc when times get frustrating....better to read with a cuppa than to mindlessly spend online :rotfl:

Just back from a really hard class. Shattered. Turning in now.

    Hugs to all xx
