    Evening all!

After eating all day, I'm now waiting for a late tea to finish cooking. :)

Unfortunately, I'm now feeling full of cold, which started yesterday evening, although it wasn't too bad during the day. Always the way though eh? Colds always seem to get worse as the evening sets in.

I did my food shop for the weekend and next week this evening, which I don't much care for. But I'm hoping to spend the weekend with my mum over in Shropshire, and won't be back in time to do even a Sunday PM shop... However, snow is forecast, and looks quite likely based on my usually quite reliable weather app on my phone... Mum and I have agreed to phone each other in the morning, and see where we stand. Not the end of the world if I don't make it over, but I don't like to tell her I'm coming and then let her down, especially now she's widowed. And she gets in foods that only I like... Stuff like that. Anyway, we'll see!

Either way, there's enough food in the house for whatever the weather decides to do!
Reading through the thread, sounds like some of you have had horrid weather today! Quite the opposite here! Warm and sunny all day! Definitely warm enough outside without a coat, as long as you've got a jumper on. Roll on Spring/Summer I say!

Judi - To try and play devils advocate, as a young man myself, I recon he was 'flexing his muscles' to his GF because he now has an empty home for a few days. It then snowballed and meant she's going to plank her bum on your couch during the day. 10 years ago, when I was 17, I would have done the same although I probably wouldn't have my told my parents for fear of a backlash.
Very true. He certainly was surprised when I told him I wasn't happy with his plans. He just assumed I'd be ok with it.

Oh well, ill just have to lock our bedroom in case. Still don't like the thought of some strange girl having a free rein in my house.

    Sleep well all.
