If you are experiencing debt problems I recommend you get in touch with a debt charity or post on the "Debt free wannabe" board of this website.0 -

Why is bankruptcy a ridiculous option? If you have substantial debts and your debts are greater than your assets and you don't have the means to repay your debts then you are insolvent and bankruptcy is a perfectly legitimate way to deal with those debts.
Fill in a statement of affairs and head over to the Debt Free Wannabe board for some advice.

Hi,
What answers are you looking for ?
If they have provided proof of liability, then they have the legal right to ask for payment, if you cannot afford to pay, then tell them so, taking you to court and obtaining judgement against you will not in any way change your ability to pay.
Why is bankruptcy ridiculous ?
Perhaps if you elaborate a little on your circumstances, more specific advice can be given, you can pop over and post this on the debt free wannabe board, if you wish, as it would be a more appropriate place.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. If you truly believe that they have no claim on the money then have your day in court.
It’s really not clear, though, why do you not think that you need to pay back what you owe?1 -
Believe me it works. Join the 'Beat The Bailiffs And The Banks' group on Facebook, you will find countless people that it has worked for on there.
The people here trying to ridicule it and cast doubt are probably the very parasites whose "career" it threatens.
Good luck0 -

ridiculing anything. You'd find that only one of the letters is the correct application of the law (CCA request), and that the other two letters are pointless.

I'd still send the three letters !♂️. A few pieces of paper costs a lot less than potentially thousands of pounds. Better safe than sorry and all of that 0

The first letter is the key, the provision of proof, the other two are totally unnecessary.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. No, it's not a magic wand that will get you out of any and all debt.
Nor is it nonsense that never works. I have read many accounts of it working, and I successfully used this process to clear a debt in 2015/16. Twice in fact - the first DCA backed down, a 2nd DCA bought the debt and then backed down after receiving my letter(s) (can't remember how many I had to send).
