Littlewoods - account closure

Hi all,
Was hoping someone could share their thoughts on this.
I recently checked my credit report and was shocked to see how high my littlewoods credit limit was. Its an account i no longer use and no longer require - i wanted the account, along with the high credit limit taken off my credit file.
I phoned littlewoods customer services two weeks ago - they took my request to close the account verbally and confirmed it would be done and that i will receive confirmation in a few days.
Two weeks passed and i hadn't heard anything, i called back again this evening and they told me that as i haven't used the account for a few months, the had sent me notice that they were going to terminate my account - but it wont be closed until 29/04/2018.
In the meantime, I am still able to log into the account and the credit limit is still available on there. I just want the account to be closed and feel its unfair on me to have to wait until the date they have chosen.
I have asked to raise a complaint - they refused.

It will be closed on the date they have told you.
Just don't use it - as you haven't been doing thus far.
I don't see what the issue is or what you're seeking by making a complaint0 -
Your starting to sound desperate, take a moment, just forget about it, it will be closed in due course.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
