Hi everyone after being in contact with the bpa for weeks reporting the matter of the constant letters from drp I supplied bpa all the same letters I have supplied drp proof of dvla I've never been registered keeper of said vehicle i finally had a reply from drp regards this false information was coming from this has all been done via bpa though as I get no response when I contact drp direct anyhow this was bpa response to myself today after weeks of contact............
Thank you for your patience.
Debt Recovery Plus Limited has confirmed that you were named as the hirer of the vehicle at the time of parking event by the keeper. They did not receive your details from the DVLA.
If you were not the hirer of the vehicle or require further information please contact Debt Recovery Plus Limited directly.
As there has not been a breach of a point raised in our Code of Practice we have concluded our investigation.
I have replied to the bpa explaining that I have told drp I've never had any knowledge of said vehicle backed up with dvla letter which I've sent many times and also sent to bpa so why will drp listen now anybody know what I should do now as drp just ignore everything I tell them direct with no reply what baffles me is bpa are aware of this as I have told them many times in the constant emails we've had past few weeks yet they advise me to contact drp again anybody have any advice on what to do please as my thoughts would be to advise them to go back to the registered keeper as the info they supplied was obviously false but will they listen as they have never before many thanks everyone0 -
First of all, please learn what a sentence is. Use full stops and paragraphs as your wall of text make it difficult to read and with so many other threads ongoing, people may very well say "Why bother?"
If this is a lease car, you need to find out who owns it and why they have given your name and address as the driver/keeper at the time.
Or you can wait it out and demand that information if it gets to court. In any event, there would need to be a direct link between you and the vehicle to get a result for the PPC.
Or there should be. Beware a CCJ by default hitting you if court papers are served perhaps to an old address and a judgement won without you knowing.
Are you 100% sure that you have never had a hire/lease car during the period in question and if you have, I would start with that hire company to see if the vehicle in question is one of theirs.0 -
Sue DRP for harassment
Also try to use whole sentences and apragraphs.0 -

Have you ever hired a vehicle of that make and model?0 -
Complain to your MP. Tell them the BPA were as useful as a multi storey in the Gobi desert.0

Sorry everyone I was texting in frustration.
I have never hired a car or leased one and the car in question is 14 years old going of the registration supplied. I read this as hirer meaning borrowed or named driver. As for ccj the letters all come in my neighbours address why this has been so strange and frustrating from the start as mentioned at the start if I could afford it I really would start legal proceedings as I'm sick to the back teeth of it.0 -
Have you ever been supplied with a courtesy car by a garage? When yours was in for repairs?
Simply ask the PPC for a copy of the letter naming you as hirer. You need to see that letter.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi no I've never had a courtesy car. I will ask them for the letter ie the information they are acting on. What shocks me is how registered keepers can name somebody else and they act on it, can they legally act on it? even if you tell them the information they have received is false as this is quite worrying. many thanks.0

Hmmm, let us know when you get the letter. Ask the BPA to require it is provided to you.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
