Parking tickets wrong name and address etc

Hi all my neighbour a few doors down has been getting letters for parking fines of zenith and drp for a vehicle they know nothing about for over 2 years and I've only recently found this out as postman had notified me as of request of my neighbour as we don't really know each other.... this is where it gets strange they are in my name but a shortened version of my first name what friends etc call me but correct surname for a vehicle I have never owned so immediately I contacted dvla as panic set in fraud etc dvla confirmed to me that the said vehicle has never been registered in my name and also its never been registered at my neighbours address and never has it been registered at my address and that the parking fines are getting the information from another source which isn't giving the correct info I have this in Writing from dvla and have made the drp etc aware of this due to being advised to by dvla yet they still send the same letters to my neighbours house time and time again feel like I'm just banging my head against a wall I know nobody is at fault on our side and there is nothing to worry about I'd just like them to stop I'm just hoping someone on here can advise me of the best way to put an end to this many thanks in advance

Which parking firm are the letters talking about?

Complain to their Trade Body, either the BPA or IPC, as you have never owned that car and you have proof from the DVLA.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

BPA members then. Complain to the BPA http://www.britishparking.co.uk/

I've used their online form and found it successful in the past.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for alleged breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They nearly always lose, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

Perhaps you should contact you MP regardless of whether you get 'joy' from the BPA.

You should explain to him/her that...
