Nelly, my effalump is my avatar. He's underneath my name. If you can't see him, you probably have your settings so that they are hidden. I think you can change this in the edit options bit under quick links.
The 3 rule date sounds like a sensible plan! I think I generally run away before I even get to date number 1 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.
Scooby - I totally know where you are coming from too! My ex is two years too late! He now thinks he perhaps shouldn't have moved in with his mate and should have maybe seen what other options he had!

Hi guys,
Hows everyone doing? Did we all have a nice weekend and enjoy the British summer?! Excellent - nice to see the rain pouring down the window tonight....business as usual! We had a great time. we got the paddling pool out for Abigail and she LOVED it. Myself and my OH were SOAKED from head to toe, she never stopped splashing! We might as well have been in it, we'd have been dryer!
Anyway, its reflection time and I had a RUBBISH debt-busting month. I only took £200 extra off my credit cards....ok, maybe I'm being a bit hard on myself but I had high hopes for this month and it didn't go as planned....does it ever??!!
I've decided to take another approach this month and take on my Tesco loan. I'm going to try and reclaim the PPI from the loan, as I never wanted it but was forced into - back in 2006. I have my letter ready to send and I know it will take ages to resolve - if it ever is - but I'm going to try. I've been putting it off, cause I hate doing these kind of things, but nothing ventured nothing gained. I expect it will take 'til Xmas to resolve......
My wife goes back to work part-time on 1st June for three months. That will net us a bit of extra salary then some SMP after baby number 2 arrives. So, basically I don't have to worry too much about finding extra money until July next year. The only issue is I may lose my overtime come Xmas and my monthly income will be pretty dire.....still, we will cross each bridge as they come. In the meantime to save childcare costs (which we simply can't afford) I will look after Munchkin in the afternoon to allow her to go to work....ships in the night...... My lucky wife not seeing me for the next three months, I expect she can't wait!
Anyway, bedtime beckons. I'm too old to stay up late anymore.....the price I pay for having kids!
Take care everyone, hope we're all winning....or at least treading water as we always do.....Debt Sept 2007 (1st LBM) - £63,000 :embarasseStarted DMP July 2012 (2nd LBM) - £34,000DFD (currently) - 12 years!"Failure is not falling down, but refusing to get up."0
