  • I spent a bleeding fortune. Haven't kept the spending diary up to date either as that would have been too scary. Pay day tomorrow so will spend the morning doing the budget and get my butt in gear again x

Hi everyone really missed this site!

Pay day on Wednesday and I have got my pay rise in it so will be able to clear OH dotty p card and OH comet card (total about 300). Then its onto the GE loan and Capital One card. Currently owe 44428.96 at the end of Oct - debt free date still Mar 2012 and refusing to budge! Have done loads of mystery shopping which has all be going towards the bills.

Only another 43 months of this! Just off to update sig x x

  • Can I join you?

My DFD when I last checked was 2015, but due to our friends the HSBC I won't check (still charging me interest and won't stop).

I'm on a DMP with the CCCS.

The last few months have been a challenge as I'm on maternity leave and not due back at work until January.

I'm in til 2014 which sometimes feels very daunting but Im taking each month as it comes and seeing the debt go down which keeps me going.I am actively looking forward to a christmas without credit but using my own hard earned cash instead, somehow it feels much better!
  • HHH thats exactly what happened to us last year - we paid for Christmas in cash for the first time since we got married nearly 20 years ago. Boy it felt good. We are doing the same this year and are almost sorted now. Things are hard though, i dont get paid till 15th Nov and have exactly £73 to live on. Full freezer though so we wont starve!

Hi Can I join please? Been reading this site for a long time now, and find it really helpful, although have not posted, till now. I am with DMP company, all going well. Got a bit of hassle from NR at the beginning via phone calls, but now all seemed to have stopped, into 2nd month of DMP, have 8 creditors and looks like my DFD will be 2012.

  • Good morning. Payawayday for me today and paid off Barclaycard. I love payday as you can see a big difference to the debt on that day. Going to try and bring my dfd back another month this month and save up £240 for my car insurance. Will be difficult as I have to really start getting organised for Christmas. X
