Hope this is in the right place.
Hope someone can help.
My husband's bluetooth speaker will not connect to the smart TV.
It has done in the past, but will not do so now. TV doesn't detect it.
Any suggestions?

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I bought a set of Bluetooth enabled speakers to use with a new laptop that had Bluetooth, but though the active speaker flashed 'receiving' the laptop could not find it. My son found that there were different versions of the software and downloaded the appropriate version to the laptop and there has been no trouble since.
As your situation is different, as the setup once worked, could the tv software have been updated so it can no loner communicate ? Ask the manufacturer.0 -
Thank you, that is very helpful.
I am totally clueless about theses things, so this might be a stupid question : the TV Freeview updated a few days ago. Could it be to do with that?(AKA HRH_MUngo)

I suspect it's unlikely, that should only have involved the channel "tuners"0
