Using YNAB has changed the way that I budgetBeen waiting for almost 4 weeks for Nationwide to open my student account. Turns out they are waiting on a signature from me (never told me) and the account is only a cash card account! Nice of them to just leave me waiting.
Have me bank recruitment day tomorrow, waited to work some shifts in April but don't think my file (if successful) will be complete by then. Hopefully most thing will be done tomorrow as they do the whole HR stuff at the end.Debt £7976 | Savings £350Aims: Buy first home 2026-8. £20k deposit0 -

So went to an interview/assessment day today for a bank position with one of my local community nhs trust. It was a very simple interview, group activity and written exercise. I was offered the position so I am just waiting for my references to be done and to be cleared by occ health.
The bank position mentioned a few post above turned into a part-time job offer.I have kind of accepted even though the role won't fit around my placement hours. I am hoping that I will be able to stay on bank as everyone automatically gets placed on bank and that is what I want.
Working out my budget on financier (which is basically an online version of YNAB), I will be able to cover July's expenses even without my basic wage from my current job if I end up leaving in May. Going forward is a different matter but hopefully I'll be on the bank somewhere or agency if needed by then.Debt £7976 | Savings £350Aims: Buy first home 2026-8. £20k deposit0 -

Just wondered if any of those on dmp had picked up on that (and how were they) and did you include all of them on your I&E sheet? Still waiting to hear back from my lot0 -
