About to claim back my next day delivery charge. No response to emails or their contact form on the website.

DHL tracking shows item collected on Thursday for Friday delivery. 6pm on Friday i get a tracking email saying it will be delivered on Monday instead.

A few current threads on them.

I ordered next day delivery and got the item a week later. They're a bit cheaper than eurocarparts if you don't need an item quickly but if it's urgent I think you need to pay a bit extra and go to eurocarparts.

Car parts 4 less are dreadful at the moment. I ordered front and rear discs pads and brake fluid for the Audi, not a cheap order. Supposed to be delivered in 3 to 5 days. Took them a week to deliver half the order with no explanation why only half the order. The second box turned up a few days later with incorrect items and no front discs. Due to their courier failing to deliver at the agreed time I had to drive 2 hours to their depot to collect the discs.

3 to 5 day delivery turned into 3 weeks and I never got the brake fluid. 6 hour wait on Web chat with no answer. Cut off multiple times on on customer services line trying to get a refund for the brake fluid. No response to emails. When I did speak to someone they were more concerned with collecting the £4 can of primer they sent in error than sorting out my missing items.

Wickes are another one to avoid at the moment still chasing an agreed refund of £133 after they messed up an online order. They are not providing any customer service support at the moment as they claim to be too busy to answer phones or emails.

  • They are cheap, but when something does go wrong it is very hard to return. Though I have never had a wrong item delivered. They do use cheaper postage to deliver than ECP.

Now you understand what the 'less' means in carparts4less; less service.
Always check reviews before ordering online:
