Passed ESA assessment but the report has lies

And/or false claims such as it says I gave written answers to spelling questions when this never happened and results from physical moving such as bending knees, none of this occured.

And whilst I passed there was contradictory things like about the mental health stating I never felt like suicide, I said I felt like it many times over the years but never got that far as knew it would have fallout, I mentioned I feel distant from the world and lonely they put I told them I had no issues with encoutering the world etc.

Oh and it states I am on antidepressants and I brought them with me, I haven't been on them for 4 years as when I changed surgeries my doctor refused to prescribe them!

Don't know to complain/stir things up!

I got on work releated, so far better than nothing still theres so much fake information on the document such as saying she examined my upper and lower body, gave me the spelling tests, and some things that sound contradictory like truthful stuff like me sweating and being nervous and agitated but then saying "no sign of any distress"

And saying I told her I walk 1 mile to town and same back every day, no I get the bus 1 minute from my house that is a mile from town

It says I use a mobile phone to call my parents but I never said that in fact I told her I hate using mobile phones as they make me stress out against my ear and I prefer a landline.

Mentions I walk up to my flat no problems every day, I live on ground floor!

Mentions I was given counting tests, memory tests, none of this happened.

Mentions I had no difficulty using a step to get to the couch, there was no step and it was a standard hard back chair!

Mentions respiritory ok, how do they know that?

This is basic things they lied/faked etc.

Is there a Support Group descriptor that you feel you meet?

Is there something in the report, once corrected would place you in SG?

Unless you answer yes to both of those I wouldn't bother doing anything.

Well, given how tough it is to get support group no in that sense but mental health wise years back my then social worker tried to get me support group as my issues will likely never go away and Ive been out of work now for like 10 years (half of that education though) due to the mental health issues.

So given how harshly they judge then even if they correct the things I doubt I will get support group.

but I think most folk ignore a lot of the crap they write as long as they get the right award at the end of it.

Isn't that a rather dangerous thing to say? If not by challenging the content of the report are you not leaving yourself wide open at a future re-assessment to be found to have actually said and carried out the disputed actions?

It's like saying that you had a walking frame at the assessment, yet the assessor wrote that you were free to move around without and help. By accepting that (by not challenging it) how do you think the next assessment would go? What about the DWP? Would they not assume that the assessors report must be correct if you do not challenge it?

I thought that too, but she kept mentioning at the actual assessment about the notes/previous assessment so she was using it as a base to judge me on.

But the main reason if shes claiming she did physical exam on me that to me screams fraud and shes likely paid to do it.

That was why I think she wrote what she did, I used to live upstairs, I used to be on antidepressants at a previous assessment I reckon she just skimmed the notes and added them to her own!

Please ignore Danday, he's known for being a fantasist who gives terrible advice about benefits, under several usernames.

If you're happy to be in the WRAG and don't think you'd get into the support group then I'd leave sleeping dogs alone. It might be worth trying to see someone at CAB or another welfare rights organisation to see what they think, although getting an appointment within the one month deadline might be difficult.

As they rarely change decisions at mandatory reconsideration stage one option could be to ask for one in order to buy more time to see CAB. This does carry the risk of losing the award you've already got though. I'm just putting it as an option, not in any way saying whether or not you should do it - it's entirely your call.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Well im not technically wanting to challenge the decision but I thought I would complain that certain things claimed never happened though didn't think that would count as a reconsideration.

Any complaints about the assessment report should be sent to the assessment providers and not DWP.
