Maybe if you made a strap, you could wear it around your neck á la St Bernard. :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

i use one of these aladdin hear & go
things. it is fab for keeping food hot for hours, i take soup, pasta etc, and there is plenty of room for a jacket potato! i only paid £3.99 in wilkinsons though i thinkMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Thanks for that Rach! It looks perfect, with the very wide top. The divided container has some good possiblities for meals too (mmmm, rice and chilli *drools*).
There's a Wilko's near my Uni, so I'll take a look in there sometime this week.I have no signature.0 -
no problem, i find it really excellent. if you can't find one pm me and i can send one to you. it was with the flasks etc. there were some more flask types but that is the exact one i have, so a potato would fit straight in!
in fact you've given me the idea of using mine for a JP!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Thanks for the offer Rach. I'll let you know how I do.I have no signature.0

Rach - when it says "Heat and Go" does that mean that you have to heat ther flask first or does it work like a normal flask?“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

i believe with most of them you can put the flask and content into the microwave to heat up.know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0

you zap the whole thing in the microwave with the contents in, but i sometimes heat the stuff first and then zap it again in the heat and go. you have to make sure you zap the heat and go as it activates the heating bit i think.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

I bought my Aladin flask from Wilko's today. Thanks Rach. :T
When I got back to Uni and showed a few people, they were all "Ooh, that's good! Where did you get it from". :rotfl:
I've currently got a baked-spud in it, and have just under an hour to go before I open it and see if it passed the heat test! I filled the flask with hot water for 5 minutes before I put the spud in though, rather than nuke it. I might put some water in it and nuke it next time, to see if it retains more heat.
And thanks for the microwave spud tip Kittyscarlett. It came out perfectly. :jI have no signature.0
