Does such a thing exist ?
When googled "free vpn" only comes up with free "limited trials"...

any of the free ones didnt work properly for me.

Tiny download limits and a lot of their locations didn't work

I am trying tunnelbear free - but that limits me to just 500Mb per month !!

OK Tunnelbear free appears to work - I have had to turn location off on windows but the new location appears to be "unknown" rather than US - Where I have tunnelled to
I am trying to watch US TV !!

With TunnelBear you can tweet for an extra GB - no Twitter account? Set up up just for that. If you want to limit your usage to browsing ( and with only 1.5GB it won't last long if you don't then Tunnelbear provide browser extensions for most of them.

I took NordVPN which works well and is pretty cheap if you look out for special offers. I don't recall exactly what deal I got but I paid up front for three years so it must have been cheap.
