I don't want my name going on some police list of offenders (this is what they have said will happen) with no evidence and little opportunity to protest my innocence. I have been feeling anxious, obviously. They say next time (if there is a next time) it could lead to £100 fine and 3 points on my licence and possibly a court summons. Not very happy about the fact that normally regulators have to explain the process and they haven't done that. I had to search the internet and I'm still unclear as it seems it varies frome one place to another. And there is no phone number and no-one to speak to. If there is a benefit from a system like this it should be seen to be fair, it should properly executed with good communications and people need to be seen to be accountable for their mistakes.
Ed: Do you have an interest in this? For eg do you administer a scheme such as this or have some responsibility for one?

Get caught by the police any they'll act accordingly whether you've been warned by the speed watch or not.

    Don’t worry.

Whether or not you’re on a “police list” will make absolutely no difference to you. If you’re caught speeding by the police they will deal with you in accordance with their guidelines, which are well publicised.

A “blacklist” from some vigilantes will play no part at all.

Awww. It's nice to be talked about. Makes me feel wanted.

Not sure what you're on about though. My rear brakes work fine.
