The claimant said well done to me, then turned to the judge and said, I think the answer will be no but wanted to see if he can appeal for loss of leave or something? Can’t remember his wording but the judge just laughed and said no.

That was your cue to ask for your own travel costs and loss of leave/salary for the day - about £100.

And you'd have got it, I suspect. It is too late now but hey, you WON in court and can tell all your friends and family - gives you confidence and it's so exhilarating, isn't it?!

Ah shame I didnt ask then but never mind, just glad it’s done with! Main thing is I won and it’s all over and done with!
