Karmacat: I'm passionate about my DFW journey to riches

Morning! Going to be a quiet day today for me, I think. My kitchen really does look like a bomb went off - between the washing up, the basil plants that need to be pruned, the bags I've dumped on the way in from mystery shopping yesterday, and bits left over from three-quarters finished tidying up - yep, its a kitchen day today, and I have a supermarket order coming in.
I think I'll be doing a supermarket order every few months .... I don't mind bringing home the fresh veg regularly, but I just can't bear to do staples shopping by hand. Without a car, it means carrying it, and I remember before supermarket deliveries got started, how *poor* that made me feel. Paying out for a delivery every so often is money well spent if it means I don't feel like that (or not about that, anyway).
Otherwise - surveys, clicks, posting on bingoport, is the dfw stuff I'll be doing, and thats about it, definitely got to be mindless today - after all, I actually finished inputting those mystery shops just before midnight last night! Wasn't my favourite way to spend Saturday night, but the hourly rate was the same as my usual awful m.s. minimum, and I did also get two bottles of wine out of it
Good luck with everything today Karmacat! Kitchen's that look like the Somme are worse than anything else in the house I think, luckily Dr Dragon keeps on top of our! Bless him he has just gone out to do our shopping (splashing out a little as it is our 6th anniversary today)

Know the feeling with the shopping! The deliveries sound like a good idea.
Sounds like a productive day ahead - if you feel like doing any more housework, feel free to pop round!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
how's the kitchen coming along? I refuse to do mine today - what is the point of having 3 days off simply to do housework, if you then spend Sunday doing housework as well
That's my argument, and I'm sticking to it!

The slobbing about is coming along brilliantly! Lets just check the kitchen .... erm, well, its *less* of a tip. Delivery has been made, about two thirds of it put away. Most of the washing up done. I feel *really* tired now.... I'm sure I just need a chill day, which is fine by me.
ISOM - its taken me years to understand this carp, and even longer to get round to using it - I know exactly how you feel, don't worry - and good luck with the decorating!
Dragon - congratulations! And wow to Dr D keeping on top of the kitchen, now *thats* love!
Squizzer - hi there! Um, I'll give it a miss today, thanks! ** chortles off stage**
Hypno - thoroughly in agreement with your profound and well reasoned argument.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

PamperingI am writing Qype reviews to try and get my ipod.........and I ache from my run this morning.
So rather than pampering, it is more "pathetic heap"Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
