    :hello: Hullo!

Shame for little elvin to have tonsillities, he's so *tiny*. But glad you and OH will have some time together - a picnic sounds lovely, tho Sunday's forecast round here isn't quite so good. Hope it holds up for you.

Had to post this separately.... when I was writing about elvin's tonsillitis, the first proper sheep pun I've ever made came up spontaneously ... "poor lamb"..... :o I can't quite believe that! :o

Anyway [KC rushes to get her coat and get out of the house before she's thrown out], here's a list, to take our minds off that:
    - scratchcards - I wonder if you're more likely to get different amounts if you do them at different times of day? :D
    - buy microwave rice steamer for my mum.
    - linseed for me, from earlier in the diary.
    - fruit and veg shop - but not too much, I have a fair bit and I'm off to my mum's next Friday.
    - decided to try to make another go of the trading by setting up an account with Cap Spreads - they offered £75 if you do 2 trades on a new account after you've had a demo account, so I need to set up the funding and the charts and whatnot.
    - online banking check, including moving some money around.
    - resize those scans I did the other day, so that I can send them to DVD mate in Oz.
    - check out cheap train ticket to a seminar in St Albans I'm going to next week.
    - garden!!!!!!

Thanks taxi, thanks shaun! Trip to the town centre went *excellently* - rice steamer, linseed (half price at Holland and Barrett), fruit and veg and tatties, cheap train ticket, cheap local bus tickets too come to that, posted off a comp entry, transferred money about , got train times for tomorrow when I go see a friend, done scratches - and still had ages of time to read my book, (fantasy) cos of intended and unintended bus journeys. Even sat in the sun for a while - the local merrygoround is being taken out of winter storage, now I know that we're really on the way out of winter. I want to have a cup of coffee, but I'll have to clean the equipment first, and I want to get out into the garden too, and I *really* don't think I'm going to have enough time to do both as much as I'd like. I think I hear the coffee calling me again. Its very polite, that coffee..... will catch up later, I hope everyone's having a nice day.

:rotfl: thats your influence, that is! Mind you, I'm *so* up for a bit of madness :j:j:j

I managed both things, btw - dug in the garden (must take a photo) and then cleaned the coffee equipment and had a coffee, and have now done my Saturday phone call to my mum while resizing the scans (multitasking, moi? :rotfl:) so my evening is now my own, hurray. A lot more mooching on here is required. And a glass of red wine, which I haven't had at home since .... I don't know, actually!
