I had a very nasty gang dealing out of a house at the base of my block of flats. THe police camped out in my living room for a whole summer noting the goings on in the house - a WHOLE SUMMER before they dawn raided the place.
They needed that level of evidence and recurring visits of people to the house to map the dealer, the mules and the customers. (the scum were using small kids as the runners 11 to 14 year olds. get them in with easy money, then get them hooked and pay them in product run them a debt and have them on the line for ever)
That we a simple op with no laundering or business front. If your relative is got a good cover then the police are going to have to work deeper and harder to get all they need. Mind you if he starts throwing cash about all over the place....... I reckon it wont be long till someone feels that money is their due and karma will get your relative. Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -

He has an accountancy firm as any legitimate business would and takes dividends from the "business" - I can assure you with absolute certainty, I've seen both the receipt/invoice for the car that was paid in full via bank transfer to Audi in Bradford (over £40k) - and the house I have seen that the title deeds are in his posession and he openly states how he paid just short of £100k for the property prior to renovations. No, he isn't having me on at all, in the space of less than 12 months he has more money than he knows what to do with, at christmas he went and purchased a brand new Raptor Quad Bike at a cost of close to £10,000 in cash, he has just recently put a £50k deposit on a villa in Cyprus via Bank of Cyprus (Seen all the docs) - A fair amount of exaggerating? lol - This is a guy of not 30 year old yet, driving a car people could only dream of, numerous properties, a seemingly never ending amount of disposable cash, and he's "having me on" and i'm "exaggerating"? - If that's your opinion absolutely fine
Yes it's my opinion. It's also my opinion that the details of what he spends shouldn't matter in the slightest to the legality and morality of the situation,
Apparently you've known he is involved with drugs for sometime, yet appear to only rethink your 'live and let live' approach in the light of his improved finances.
Your jealousy of him is thinly disguised as moral outrage, and if this is the way you approached the police, all tall stories and seething envy, with no hard evidence, they may have considered you a relative with a grudge. They can't go poking into his financial affairs just on your say so.
In terms of your query, i think pragmatically, unless you want turn detective and collect hard evidence, you've done all you can in putting this in the hands of the police. If you have concerns about a child, the local authority should be informed. Beyond that, my suggestion would be to cut your ties with this person. You (understandably) don't approve of his lifestyle and the situation is making you angry. Forget him and get on with your own life.
On a final point about anonymous reporting; surely there can't be that many people so intimately acquainted with his finances as yourself? You've seen his bank statements apparently, and seem more familiar with his affairs than many people are with their own. Would it not be obvious it was you?

You remind me of Fredo Corleone. If he invites you to go fishing say you are busy0

Hard to know what to say here. Your morals and his sound none too dissimilar if you did not care about it until he started making a lot of money. Hopefully that is not how you really feel, as the right thing to do is to report him to the police whether he makes a lot of money or not.
If one of my family we!!!8217;re dealing cocaine then yes, I would report it. The misery and death in the supply chain are terrible, and while it remains the case those dealing it should face the law.0 -

Personally, I don't care if this thread is an alter ego or a wind-up or based on jealousy or pretend moral outrage.
If there's even half of one per cent of a grain of truth in it, I'm backing the OP all the way in trying to bring a halt to someone's participation in what is an absolutely filthy trade.0 -
I!!!8217;m amused by the graphic designer comment.0
