Needless to say i didn't pay the fine and appealed because i felt i was acting in the best interest of other motorists given that on arrival parking was very tight and i feel i paid well over what i should have (£14.30). I feel very upset by this. and i am now being chased by Zenith Collections for a sum of £131.75 I don't agree to this and i definitely don't have that sort of money i just wish it would go to court so i might have a fair hearing.0

Just thought I'd add another success appealing against APCOA (in a railway car park). Rejected by both the land owner SWR and APCOA. Apealled to POPLA using the below letter and APCOA have decided not to proceed.
I used the standard POPLA template letter and added a final section (including pictures) showing the car correctly parked with a season ticket displayed.2 -
Apcoa nearly always cancel when bye-laws are mentioned. They know that if they took the claim to court they would lose. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

Just had a PCN deposited on my windscreen at Luton & Dunstable hospital. Car park is being rebuilt so I parked in the only other area available, for "friends" ferrying patients (a friend was driving my car, because I was unable to until I've had an op. The surgeon was in an emergency op, so my appointment was delayed two hours.
The ticket is from APCOA and I note from previous missives that I can avoid the £70 charge, thanks to your help. The notice says it's acting on behalf of the landowner (see attached scan) which might make things difficult?
Please help0 -
Hi
You immedaitely informed the entire world who parked
If you cant delete this post, please ask a board guide (list on the main page) to do so and when you post as a NEW THREAD, you DONT tell everyone who drove.
THEN you read the newbies thread because station tickets are included there.0 -
No threads about APCOA are needed. The NEWBIES thread tells all keepers how to win v non-POFA PPCs like APCOA.
Dead easy.
No asking where the newbies thread is...please, you'd be amazed. People do. DESPITE MY SIGNATURE BELOW!

You just can't make some of this stuff up.No wonder punters are totally and utterly ignorant of signage, then want the forum to put things right for them for little effort on their part when they are caught out. I often question why I'm here and having to do so much reading and work on their behalf when punters won't do it for themselves at car parks, thereby avoiding all this crap! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
