Just used JL Partnership Card (HSBC) at pay at pump and the £1 pending payment is already showing.

Another vote for the John Lewis Partnership card.

Initially I was sceptical about this card, due to the bad press for their customer service on the internet and their cloak and dagger method when applying for the card, but I’ve been really impressed with them.

The pending transactions come up straightaway, they’ve operated the DD correctly from day one with no problems, plus we managed to earn £40.00 worth of vouchers for Waitrose and John Lewis from them. :p
A cunning plan, Baldrick? Whatever it was, it's got to be better than pretending to be mad; after all, who'd notice another mad person around here?.......Edmund Blackadder.

Lloyds Avios shows up instantly unless you use contactless.

Same with Amex - contactless don't show as pending.

Thanks for your reply. Does the web account management interface show these pending transactions if you do an export to CSV/Excel?

Capital One shows any transaction as pending instantly and knocks off avail balance.

Best card I've got when making a payment. Using online banking if I make a payment at say 8am, by 10am ish the amount is reflected in my available balance (not overall balance). Then by midnight its showing in the overall balance figure.

My Asda card takes about 3 days to recognise a payment if I did it same way.

With your Capital One card, will those pending transactions show if you download/export transactions to CSV?
