Being able to purchase a takeaway on BNPL really should not be a thing, should it! I support availability of that payment model for things like replacement white goods as there is a chance that at least sometimes it will facilitate an essential purchase from someone who for no fault of their own has no emergency fund in place, but I can think of literally NO situation where a takeaway is an essential spend, and you just know that the people who CAN afford such things will definitely not be paying in instalments! Sigh - you can just see how that will end up.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

That is so scary. I'm with EH. I loathe those companies who give a year free credit then on day 365 impose a ridiculous interest rate. I *think* now they have to give warning in advance, they didn't used to.2

foxgloves said:@Kantankrus_Mare - I've been to Brimham Rocks just once & remember having fun trying to pose for Mr F's arty photos, which I seem to remember didn't look as arty when we printed them out, as we thought they might, lol! The abbey you mention.....yes gorgeous. We stayed there for our honeymoon & have been back for further stays. Love the fact that holiday-makers in their holiday cottages get a key to the gate (for parking spaces) so can explore after everyone's gone home. We had the most fabulous morning once, when I peeped out of the curtains & everywhere was white. It was about 7am, but we threw our clothes on, found our boots & went for a breathtakingly beautiful snowy walk amongst the ruins. There was a dog-walker way in the distance, but apart from that, we were completely alone. Fab. NT cottage prices have shot up - probably out of our price range now, I haven't looked recently.
Hope you are ok after your double jabs. I have a couple of friends who were poorly after having both together, but other folk we know have been fine. Reactions to jabs does seem quite random according to the individual, so hopefully you'll be in the OK.

No adverse reaction from the two vaccinations apart from a slightly sore and swollen arm.
Ive had the best news this weekend as well....(apart from the biopsy all clear)... Im going to be a Grandma for the first time!! My son arrived with his partner for tea on Sunday and told us the news. To say I was shocked is an understatement as he has always said he wasnt sure he wanted kids so I had resigned myself to not having grandchildren. They will make great parents. I'm so happy for them. I'm not supposed to tell anyone yet as she hasnt told her side of the family yet so we are keeping it to ourselves for now in real life but I had to share with someone!!Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... I've had a bad reaction to every jab/booster so far. Not had the latest booster yet, I need to make sure the following day is free so I can rest if need be. Hopefully you'll start feeling better shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

I hope you get over your reaction quickly. I had my booster last week and I have been having headaches on and off ever since thankfully the frequency and severity are reducing and are now only a slight annoyance.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hope you feel better soon. We had the Moderna one & flu jab at the same time. Had bad headache and arm and then about 4 days later I started with a bad virus, so don't know if that was to do with it. Lasted about a week.Making the debt go down and savings go up
