Tried to find the video of inside but can't find it.
Had a house clearance today. Didn't sale loads but got rid of wardrobes chest of drawers and bedside cabinet. Not sold our sofa yet, that has surprised me. It's faux suede/leather with recliner either end.
Hope you are ok?

Wow, @Pixiehouse55! That camper van looks fab! How exciting for you! Hope you enjoy your travels as you search for a suitable boat. You have inspired me to keep saving so that we give ourselves the best possible chance of living by the seaside when Mr F retires.
Do drop in to post about your travels now & again if you are able to do so.

Hello Sunday Savers,
Decided we needed to see some greenery today - I wilt without it - so we got up early to shift a few jobs, Mr F brought me a quorn sausage cob & a coffee, then we headed to a local-ish park for a walk around the lake & woodland paths. We go there quite regularly so we bought an annual parking pass as it will save us money.
Laundry done & line-dried for free in this lovely breezy sunshine. All today's other jobs have revolved around preparing for decorator's return tomorrow. We emptied out the rest of the lounge, took all our pictures down & I wrapped my piano in a blanket & duvet cover in case of paint roller spray.
The Man Cave will be our sitting room for the week ahead. We have a comfortable futon sofa bed in there we can sit on, a coffee table & lamp. I shall watch GBBO on my laptop, but am not bothered by the thought of a TV-free week.
I have heaps of jobs to keep me busy while decorator is here, including my Big Budget Day tomorrow. This will take me longer than usual as I need to do quite a few updates first, sort out a CC issue (nothing bad) & also do some projections re the Home Improvement Budget so I know exactly where we stand financially before a major quote comes in the week after next. My plan for tomorrow is to check decorator & I are on the same page, make him a coffee, then hole up in my little HQ room with my trusty money book, spreadsheets & calculator.
Wishing everyone a peaceful evening.

I'm glad you have somewhere you and Mr F can relax of an evening. It wouldn't worry me if we didn't have access to the tv for the week we have plenty of books and games to.keep us occupied.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Yes, I'm the same @Baileys_Babe - I've always got plenty to do that doesn't involve screens. I need to finish my final charity stall knitted item (hippyfied hat with flowers on it!) & I always have a book on the go, planning to do, et.

Hello Monday Money Savers,
Oh my giddy aunt......today is my Big Budget Day & I think my head could well explode any moment! Am just about to go & put the kettle on & make a cafetiere as I'm sure our decorator could do with a drink too. His wall stripping & dado-rail removal this morning has uncovered yet another one of Mr DIY Numpty's bodges, but with a bit of insulating tape & some plastering, it looks as though it will be ok.
Meanwhile up in Foxgloves HQ, there has practically been steam coming out of the calculator! Lots of complications this month which I won't bore you with, but let's just say that it took me half the morning just to get to a point where I could extract an accurate figure from which to work. I have done it now & also written out October's budget in my money book. I think we have more disposable income this month than I was expecting & this is almost certainly to do with a mind-bending series of Savings Pots & other transactions rendered more opaque by a quite large refund received on my credit card. I decided that I have got things as straight as I can for today, but have set aside £200 in this month's budget in case anything peculiar does come to light. If it doesn't, then that's great & I can keep that money for holiday expenses this autumn. It is of course possible that I was expecting a sparser month than it actually is looking to be - certainly our October DDs/bills spreadsheet total is not as big as the previous couple of months, so I am going to do the sensible thing & keep an eye on it fairly regularly over the coming month & hopefully any glitch will come to light.......or not. The important thing, as always, is not to overspend any budget cateogries. I am able to put some money into our ISA again, which is something I am trying to do every month & haven't dropped one yet.
Other frugal stuff? Not a lot. I've baked bread, dinner is leftovers from last night as Mr F cooked plenty - I just need to go & cut some chard to have with it. I have been paid for a PA survey which has put my earnings up to just over £100 - that was my total to cash out early December, so as I still have a couple of months, I am going to carry on & see if I can earn a little more.
OK, well that coffee is positively shouting my name now, so I shall sign out & go & put the kettle on.
Wishing everyone a good productive week ahead,

Awww, @carolbee - How nice of you, but no, we are not planning to move to Kent. We have a specific county in our sights if the house price differential doesn't get too much wider. It will be a good few years yet. I'm nowhere near pension age yet & Mr F is nearly 5 years younger than me. I shall keep saving.
