HELP! Fine of £640 from Gladstones

Hi,

I’ve received a letter from Gladstones dating to 07/02/2018 but only just received the letter yesterday saying I owe UK Car Park Management Ltd £640! I have no idea what I’m doing and have tried reading previous posts but don’t seem to understand them and worried I’m gonna have to pay this bill. Any help would be highly appreciated, thank you

    Is this letter titled Letter Before Claim or is it just a letter asking for money?

    I got the parking fine months and months ago but was advised to ignore it. It’s telling me to contact DRP (debt recovery plus ltd) to discuss the payment.

    It is a debt collector's letter then.

    Post #4 in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread describes in the greatest detail how to deal with debt collector's letters.

    To summarise that post: Ignore debt collector's letters.

    Please post again if you get a Letter of Claim or official court papers.

    Oh I see, it!!!8217;s from Gladstones though I thought that meant it was court ready, do apologise I!!!8217;m not the smartest of people and got very confused by other posts and just worried me, where should I post when they post the next letter?

    As said above, DRP are the biggest load of rubbish around:rotfl:

    Take no notice of these low life, DRP CANNOT DO ANYTHING

    You don't owe anything until proved otherwise and your job
    is to prove you are right.

    Tell us all about this, where, when, type of car park etc.
