  • To anyone who is feeling disheartened about the property market, please keep on keeping on. All is not lost.:j

I am pleased I have recently sold my house especially as house prices in Leeds, where I live, have plummeted. Please see http://www.home.co.uk/guides/house_prices_report.htm?location=leeds&lastyear=1 and by the look of asking prices, things are getting worse still.

I used William H Brown, estate agents, to sell my house because they were using the helpful ranking system on Home.co.uk. Please see: http://www.home.co.uk/search/agents/results.htm?location=leeds

I would definitely recommend Home.co.uk without any hesitation.

Amazing looking back at the denial there was around last year
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.
  • Amazing only a pillock like you would reply to spam in that way. I give up..

Tsk geoffky, lighten up. I wasn't defending anyone, just having a bit of a laugh on a Thursday evening.

I don't sit in my flat all week (it's not a flat for a start, it's a Studio), I'm out most every night with clients or friends, hence why I don't post on here past 6pm (or so). Last night I was in Covent Garden watching the Spurs v Liverpool game at a Canadian bar (can't remember its name) that had pretend logs manufactured into the walls to make it look like a log cabin. It looked as bad as it sounds.

Chill dude. You're getting as bad as !!!!!! for not being able to have any fun.

we're probably looking at around 110% drops - there will be a sharp rise in prices then drop into negative numbers.
  • serious? how did you find out such information, how long before this will take place?
