When is the best time to haggle for a new deal?

I've got 66 days left on my 2 years contract with Vodafone. I've spoken to them and their offer isn't as strong as I'd like and would like to know when I may get offered a better deal?

I'm happy to wait until I'm in the final month of my contract if that's what it takes.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Half an hour before the sales rep's submission on a bad month is good, however, it's not so easy from the buyers perspective. Leave it as late as you can, if you can cope with some brinkmanship. Be realistic though, the company is not going to give their services away and will let unprofitable customers walk away.
