Wileyfox phone repair

I bought a Wileyfox phone in August for my daughter. A few weeks ago she dropped it and the screen is now cracked and pretty much unusable. The problem is that the company is now in administration and I cannot find anyone who could replace the screen. The phone is not covered by insurance. It was not too expensive but it is a decent phone. I wonder if the company is liquidated and there is no way to fix the phone, do I have any other options or it's pretty much it?

Buy a screen from eBay (you haven't mentioned the model, but there are screens on eBay for some of the models) and pay a local repairer to fit it? Or even just get the repairer to get and fit screen.====0 -
Oh, I wouldn’t advise to replace the glass by your own. Better go to the repair shop. I had the same problem after my kid dropped my iPhone 7 Plus on asphalt. The front glass was smashed and more than that the phone got stuck on the Apple logo. I had the screen replaced in the local repair shop. It took no more than 20 minutes.0

The model is Swift 2 X, and I cannot find a replacement screen anywhere.0

Unfortunately you've just lost the gamble of buying a niche product.
All you can do is put it in a drawer and wait and see if Wileyfox come back from administration. This is the reason why some people who buy niche or cheapie Chinese treat them as disposable in the event of it becoming damaged or faulty.
Maybe buy the replacement from a big brand with decent UK support if you want long term support in the future.====0 -
So I thought. Thanks anyway.0

Sorry, I meant you could then possibly take both handsets to a repair shop.Dwy galon, un dyhead,

As I understand it, the company hopes to continue trading after restructuring and hasn't yet been liquidated. If at all possible it might be worth hanging on.0
