Vendors moved furniture between viewings

Hi,
So we had an offer accepted and are awaiting to exchange!
Before we got to that point I went and had a look at the property 1st time on my own, loved it and so put in the offer before my OH had even viewed it (he trusts me and loved the look of it online anyway).
The furniture was set out exactly how the photos showed on Rightmove, everything seemed perfect, it is ready to move straight into. I was shown around by the Vendors (lovely people).
Once we had agreed on the price my OH went and had a look around. He was shown by the Estate Agent and was confused as some of the bigger pieces of furniture were laid out differently to the photos and how I described them. He tells me that a massive free standing wall unit had been moved along the wall and a sofa moved there instead. In the bedroom all the beds were facing the other way which would have meant moving big chest of drawers and a huge wardrobe. And means beds were no longer against the feature walls?
I know people like to swap their furniture around (I do it frequently) but doesn't it seem strange to do it before you move? We are set to exchange in 12 weeks?
Probably just me reading too much into it (well trying to anyway!) and being worried our dream house has something wrong with it.

Surely not something wrong in every room that you somehow missed in your original viewing?

Most likely they just moved some furniture for the Rightmove photos and viewings, to make the rooms look bigger/more attractive, then put it back to how they like it as soon as someone offered and they didn't have to do viewings anymore.
Did hubby notice any damage to walls/flooring? The main reason people move furniture when selling their house is to cover up carpet stains, damp on the walls, etc. If your hubby didn't see anything wrong now then I wouldn't worry. If they'd moved one bit of large furniture I'd be inspecting around it to see what it's hiding, but they're unlikely to have damaged their entire house!
As a general point, don't get too sucked in by vendors' lovely furniture on viewings. It's hard but you have to picture the rooms empty, and with your stuff in. Firstly, houses with nasty or badly laid out furniture are a bit harder to sell because people can't see past it, so you might have less competition for them. Secondly, if a house actually has some awkwardly sized/shaped rooms, careful furniture choice can mask it!0 -
Maybe they moved the furniture for the photos and then moved it back to how they wanted it after your offer?;)0

FTB ? Like learner drivers we were all one once.0

Possibly overthinking it. Perhaps they took advice from a Feng Shui forum on how things should be arranged for selling their house.
As long as you have had a survey done you should have no worries0 -

I love moving furniture around but there's usually so much stuff to move that I never bother. Perhaps the vendors are the same and have done a massive de-clutter so are making the most of being able to move everything easily!0

Considering that the house will be empty of all furniture when you move in, what difference does it make to you if the current vendors choose to move their furniture around in the meantime?0

Are you sure you've both viewed the same house?0
