I have a thriving business that is being taken over by a group... a nice five bedroom place in the UK i am happy with... and three properties overseas in Europe. My eggs are not all in one basket!
So... thanks to the kind souls who were actually helpful but the rest of you, jeez - get a grip. It's just business...
Suffice to say i will save time in future and go elsewhere for advice. Jealousy will get you everywhere!
Hmmm! When I read your first post I felt sorry for you. I concluded that your Florida episode had been a moment of madness. It now turns out that you have had 4 moments of madness. Are any of your other places in Spain by any chance? Owning five properties scattered around the globe might sound good in the pub but no one needs five homes. As for investment potential, owning five properties in dispersed locations borders on the reckless. As the saying goes, a fool and his/her money are soon parted.0 -
So whats happening with this now Sleepwalker?
Are you selling?0 -

Dear oh dear, reading this thread over it does sound rather harsh.
OP was the mortgage raised in the UK or the US? If the US then you can just hand back the keys and walk away (so my husband tells me).
I suppose a lot of people here are going to get caught the same way.0
