Ok this is a rant post so please feel free to ignore.Told to come to this hospital as soon as possible so arrived Wednesday evening in the clothes I was in. Nobody knew I was coming despite the Skye hospital saying it was sorted. OH slept in the car, bless him.2am Thursday morning they realised I hadn’t been seen by a doctor, miraculously one appeared then had a ct scan at 4.50am. Nothing further happened that day but they ruled out a stroke and decided I needed to see the optometrist this was in the morning. That department didn’t reply to any emails. I was moved off the ward to another one but the bonus was I got my own room. I had a stinker of a headache and it took 4 hours to get some paracetamol. Managed to be seen by them on Friday, though they weren’t expecting me (it’s in a different building). My eyes are fine (just wonky vision in 1 of them). Now I’m being passed to neurological, guess what, nothing happened for the rest of the day. Turfed out of my room at 11.30 last night and onto a different ward. Which brings us to today. I’ve still only got the clothes I arrived in. Did manage to wash my underwear last night. I hadn’t realised until I went to the eye unit that Tescos is only an 11 minute walk away but they wouldn’t let me go. I am honestly really well just wonky vision.I have to confess I am feeling a bit sorry for myself and weepy but I really am on the cusp of throwing my toys out. OH is 3 hours away so it’s not like he can pop in.Ok big girl pants on (not as grubby as they were) need to kick !!!!!!.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Rant away.🤗. Any MSErs local who can visit via Tesco? That'd be too easy3

Sounds awful. It's unlikely but are there any hospital volunteers who could collect a click n collect order from tescos for you? You've been moved from team to team so you need to know who the named consultant is who currently has responsibility for your care and you need to speak with them or the most senior member of their team. Someone, somewhere has overall responsibility for you.
At least your big girl pants are washed and ready for work today.
sending you lots and lots of good wishes3 -

That’s so kind Beanie. I am considering discharging myself and trying to do this through out patients. I am taking up bed space unnecessarily. I’m sure if they were that worried I would’ve been seen.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Honestly you couldn’t write it, I’m back on the ward (not my room sadly) that I got booted off last night. The ward manager is as bemused as I am at the lack of care. Still not seen a God…..
