@EssexHebridean your talk of being grown up has resonated with me just now. I was wearing a jumper with buttons on and one fell off. I found it and put it in my pocket. Now I’m home I’ve just sown it back. I detest any form of sewing with a passion. Both my sisters are really good at it and my oldest sister is so she made her daughter and d-I-ls wedding dresses So I’m feeling very virtuous!

It is scary when your off spring take over the controls! Another grown up job done, I opened a savings account and set up a SO for every month. Initially it’s for 250 but will probably have to lower it further down the line

This is an excellent example of being a grown up - well done! (We've all done it haven't we - spent stupid amounts of time chasing the loose button round from pocket, to various flat surfaces indoors, rather than simply sewing the wretched thing back on ASAP and it taking almost no time at all!)
