Sounds like a B2B to me.Manxman_in_exile wrote: »Also, if the OP paid the dance school and the dance school paid the supplier, how did the supplier end up refunding the OP (which is what the OP appears to be saying)?
I asked that too. I don't see a reply.Manxman_in_exile wrote: »Then I realised that the items are customised with dance school's logo etc. so presumably replacements would have to be made up specially (at least adding the logo) at some extra cost to the supplier. Plus can you return non-faulty items that are customised?
The issue is, the items weren't "items" (as in single items) that I can see, they were "sets". In normal circumstances C2B they would be returnable if faulty, but they seem to be B2B.0 -
Thanks for your help.
Is there somewhere on-line that you could direct me to that states in the C2B scenario that a refund is necessary for a set when one part of the set is faulty?
I don’t think that my friend, collating orders, making no profit, constitutes a business. But maybe I’m wrong. The refund has been offered but not taken yet as I am considering it. They are also offering a discount or a replacement. They have fixed one item (the tracksuit top had a faulty zip) and are not offering a refund on that.

If the items are faulty then why not ask them to replace the items as surely they will still be needed?0

How have they offered to refund you, if you didnt pay them or have they offered to refund your friend0

It does not matter whether it is a b2b sale or a b2c sale, the sooner that the OP understands that they have no contractual relationship with the company and that this company owes you absolutely nothing then they may listen to the help they are being offered here.0

Put it this way, if the company retract their goodwill gesture, as that is all it is as you were not their customer - It will be upto your friend to resolve the situation with you.
If your friends doesn't want to do that, then it is them you will have to take to the Small Claims Court.0
