Thank you both. I understood that a quad LNB would be OK for Sky Q so would the one at https://www.digitalisdirect.com/product/tripodtwin-cabledish-quad-lnb-sky-plus-hd-box-to-use-satellite-at-caravan/ be suitable?0

No, a quad LNB just means it's got 4 outputs, that one has 4 outputs for a HD+ box. You need one for a Q box (or a hybrid that has outputs to suit both), you can buy them off Amazon cheaply and just swap the one on the tripod setup (as long as it physically fits the arm.0 -
Is this what you are describing, Colin_Maybe? https://smile.amazon.co.uk/Sky-Way-Hybrid-LNB-HD/dp/7555564149/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1519597013&sr=8-2&keywords=lnb+sky+q0

Yes, that's a hybrid LNB. You'd still need to check it will physically fit on the end of the arm.0 -
I would suggest that you ask digitalisdirect to supply the dish with the hybrid LNB. That way you will know that it will fit.0

However, the OP has the option of searching for the correct LNB from this retailer (or any other) of course.0 -

I never said they were. I was merely suggesting that may be the easiest course of action.0 -
Have phoned Sky and they seemed quite unsure of the whole process if it wasn't going to their engineer drilling into a house. They advised me to speak to an independent installer about putting up a pole or a tripod. I've done that and they reckon around £300 to supply and install a dish. That's not a goer so probably looking to do it ourselves. Will check with Digitalis Direct re the hybrid LNB.0
