My garden aint big enough!

As part of our renovations we are getting Calor gas central heating, and cooking installed, (no mains gas.) I've just had a mail from them which states;
If you're interested in installing an LPG system we ask you to confirm you have a large open space to fit a tank into - wherever it goes, there must be 3 metres clearance in all directions from the edge of the tank. This means no trees, buildings, boundaries, parked cars, fences, etc within 3m of any point of the tank.

That sounds like a hell of a big space, just to have a Calor gas tank plonked in the middle of it?

Has anyone here had experience with getting a gas tank fitted?

Any advice on Calor in general is welcomed.
