Set up new email account like gmail and from there you'll be able to transfer your old emails from your old one. Do a quick search as there are videos that walks you through how its done.0

If still looking for options, dump it all onto your local computer (called an "archive") using the free https://www.mailstore.com/en/products/mailstore-home/

To echo some of the comments above...
It's well worth getting an email address that isn't tied to your ISP. Personally, I like GMX (but GMail and others will do the job).
If you really want to be sure you won't lose your email address in future, you could buy your own domain name (~£10 a year for a .co.uk domain) and set up email forwarding on it.
Thunderbird is a great email client (software that lets you access emails instead of using a web browser).
There is probably some way that you can download your existing emails into an archive file that you will be able to access from Outlook/Thunderbird...0 -
I have my btinternet.com account for a decade after leaving BT
They email saying it will close every few years but never does I have switched it to my secondary email and sync it with my hotmail account
don't think that is the case now as i lost my email addresses 6 months after leaving bt
