Been looking for the last week to switch suppliers on cheap energy club to sort out my gas/elec as my fix EDF deal coming to an end. Got the MSE email this morning about the British Gas Fix March 2019 deal, and it was to be cheaper than the other big names....... when I put all my details in EON, EDF and First Utility are…

It's actually the 'big' suppliers rather than the 'big 6' but I'm the same. EDF, E.ON & first utility all pip BG by a spread of £61 a year (£74 to £79 a month combined price). I presume I'm not 'average' by MSE's criteria.
