Why are you promoting the British Gas £225 savings plan?, when there is a condition that people that join have to have a "Smart Meter" fitted. It is well known that there are many detrimental issues with these meters, revolving around inaccuracies, the fact that they are open to cyber attacks, if people switch suppliers they do not then work etc.

Not a useful answer. People should not be encouraged to save money when by doing so exposes them to risks. There are plenty of other energy savings to be made.0
