PCN from PE. Going for POPLA Appeal this week

So why not include pictures that support your statement, rather than one that doesn't?
OK, I know you want to show the entrance sign, but putting that sign right above the sentence saying the parking charge is in tiny print is a bit silly - in my opinion.0 -
I agree with KeithP that the Supreme Court Tweet and the Beavis case sign should be actual images in the appeal document, not links.
I don't think the sign that you've shown is bad because it makes it clear that it is vandalised and terms are unreadable. Maybe make it even smaller an image!! Make that small print smaller.
should be 'I contend that'I content that I, as the driver
And there's a point early on where you state the in/out times and say 'an alleged overstay of 16 minutes'. I would remove that phrase, so the Assessor doesn't zoom in the the words '16 minutes'.
You could change it to 'an alleged overstay of just eight minutes after paid-for time on Boxing Day, which is ludicrously unfair and contrary to the BPA stated policy'.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you so much KeithP and Coupon-mad
I have now updated the draft with both of your inputs.
I have even added more pictures showing my points strongly.
Please have a look and suggest if this updated version is putting all the points correctly?

Hi KeithP,
I have updated the draft now with yours and Coupon-mad suggestions.
Could you please have a look to see if I have now done it correctly please?
Please let me know if there is anything else I need amending. I am due to submit the appeal by tomorrow night or Wednesday latest.
Many thanks

Apologies for keep asking for it but if any of the experts could please have a look at the appeal and suggest if it's good to go or needs any amendments?
I have done one mistake in the first appeal before knowing about this forum and don't want to do any mistakes from now on.
My 30 days of getting the POPLA reference number is tomorrow but I am down in hospital tomorrow for some x-rays and test so don't know if I can do any work until I am back in the evening.
Any suggestions or help is very much appreciated.

I have gone through few more threads and read comments on appeals.
I have now done the final draft, ready for your review before I submit it tomorrow.
Please have a look and suggest if this is now good to go?

Once again, thank you so much for having this forum, helping me in doing this appeal and your generosity for giving time and efforts to help drivers like us to fight these PCNs.0 -
Just to say POPLA codes last for 33 days...(honestly). So no rush for a day or two.
No time to look right now...sorry...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you Coupon-mad.
I understand. You are helping so many people so it may take some time before you can advise me on my appeal.
My 33 days end on this Saturday so I will wait for your response.
I have saved last two versions of the draft here:

Many thanks again.0 -
Hi, today is my last day to submit the appeal so if you could let me know if my appeal(s) look fine to upload please!0
-
Looks ok to me.
I'd 'relegate' the ANPR appeal section to the last point. In my view, it's the weakest of the ones you are using, and POPLA won't adjudicate in your favour on this, instead accepting (swallowing) wholesale the template ANPR camera guff that PE will enclose with their evidence pack.
Send the appeal as a .pdf file and tick the 'Other' box under Reasons for Appeal. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
