Can my dentist do this? Isn't this discrimination?

Not sure why someone with depression should expect to be treated any differently to anyone else but assume you kept your medical records up to date with the medication you are taking?
As someone who has endured extreme tooth pain recently, I assume yours wasn't too bad as it subsided when you weren't wearing dentures and you had the private consultation about it about it 6 months ago without using the information they had acquired.
Implants on the NHS, yeah right. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I'm not sure I follow?
Regarding dental implants, believe what you want to believe - I'm not in the convincing business.0 -

Im with your dentist.
Jeez, thanks! So you think I'm a "PITA"? Is being polite and adding something constructive too difficult for you?
Presumably you also think it is right that because my pain is hard to resolve that the dentist is justified in fobbing me off too?0 -
The reference to Vento bands and injury to feelings is a mistake: Vento bands would be used for calculating damages in an employment tribunal. A dentist does not employ his patients (!) and so a claim in the county court for injury to feelings making reference to Vento bands won't get anywhere.
It is however time to find a new dentist.0 -

It applies to civil courts too.
As for the other comment by baza52, I'm not even going to waste energy on a troll-like post such as that.0 -

No I said Ive told clients to foxtrot oscar because they were a pita.
From my perspective it wouldnt be too hard to believe that your dentist takes the same line with their clients as well0 -

Someone with a stammer could be a "PITA" to understand. Does that make it right to discriminate against them?
I have no issue with service providers refusing to deal with persistently unreasonable clients, as long as it is done lawfully and fairly.
And you did say you were bias towards my dentist.0 -
